COSMOFLING PRIVACY POLICY
Cosmofling is a small independent game published by Craig Digital. It is built to collect as little as possible. There are no ads, no accounts with email or passwords, and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.
What the game stores
- A random player ID. A random code made on your device the first time you play. It is not your name, phone number or device serial number.
- Your pilot name, if you choose one for the leaderboard. Please use a nickname, not your real name.
- Your game progress: scores, stardust, items you own, levels finished and daily streak. This is kept on your device and on our server so your progress can follow you to another device.
- Basic play statistics: which days the game was opened, how long it was on screen, and counts of things like runs started. We use these to see what is fun and what needs fixing.
- Feedback you send through the game's feedback page.
- An account key and link codes, if you use them to move your progress between devices.
What the game does not collect
No email address, no real name, no phone number, no contacts, no photos, no precise location, and no advertising identifier. The game does not track you across other apps or websites.
Purchases
On the website, optional supporter packs are paid for through Stripe. Card details go to Stripe and never reach our server; we only learn that a pack was paid for and which player ID it belongs to. The iPhone app does not sell anything.
Services we use
- Vercel hosts the website and server, and provides simple page-view counts for the website.
- Turso stores the game's database.
- Stripe handles payments on the website.
Like any website, these services see the internet address (IP address) a request comes from. We do not use it to identify players.
Children
Cosmofling is suitable for all ages. Because it asks for nothing personal, a child can play without giving any personal information. The leaderboard shows pilot names to everyone, so please choose a nickname. Names are filtered for bad language.
Seeing or deleting your data
You can delete your account yourself at any time: open the game, tap Account on the menu, then Delete my account. That removes the pilot name, scores, saved progress and play statistics from our server and from your device. Records of payments made on the website are kept, as receipts. You can also email us with the pilot name (or the account key from the Account screen) and we will remove it for you. Deleting the app or clearing the website's data removes the copy kept on your device.
